Insulation Incentive Program Requirements
- Existing residence must be heated with electric heat.
- Existing insulation R-values must be documented on the invoice.
- Post insulation R-values must be documented on the invoice.
- Square footage of project area must be documented on the invoice.
- Must be installed by a licensed and bonded contractor.
- Contractor proposal and invoice required showing total project costs.
Not eligible: new construction or major remodels
Insulation incentives vary for qualifying installations based on the area being insulated, existing R-value, and completed R-value.
Attic: $0.09 – $2.00 per square foot
Floor: $0.75 – $0.90 per square foot
Exterior Wall: $2.00 per square foot (must be existing R-0 to qualify)
