Important Dates & Information
On October 2, 2023, we’ll be launching our new SmartHub app and billing layout. This new system features many benefits for our members. The process of switching over to the new system will create a few key dates you should know about:
September 26th Through October 2nd
Our current payment systems will no longer be available starting on Tuesday September 26, 2023. That’ll effect any members that use our online payment solution for payments, auto-pay and paperless billing.
Cash and check payments can be made in our lobby, dropbox and/or drive-up window.
Payments will not post to your account until the new system is in place. Because of this transition, late charges will be waived during this time.
October 2nd: SmartHub is Live!
After we launch on October 2nd, please visit this page.
You’ll find links and instructions on how to manage your account like never before through our web portal or mobile app.
Attention AutoPay Members!
On October 2, 2023, PenLight members will be required to re-register for AutoPay in our new SmartHub payment system!
AutoPay Re-Registration
If you use PenLight’s Auto Pay program with a credit or debit card or bank draft, you will need to re-enroll.
- On either web portal or app, click on Bill & Pay.
- Click on AutoPay Program link.
- If you use your bank’s payment service to schedule payments, you will need to update the bank information with your new PenLight account number to ensure payments are routed properly.

Dates & Information
PenLight is excited to introduce an upgraded payment system, SmartHub, to our members on October 2nd! If you are currently registered for AutoPay in our system with a credit or debit card, mark the following dates on your calendar:
September 26 to October 2nd
As we prepare to transition to the upgraded payment system, beginning noon (PST) on September 26th, electronic payments will not be accepted via credit/debit card or checking (ACH) on the website, in the office or by automated phone payments.
Cash and check payments can still be made in our lobby, or checks can be mailed or left in our night drop box.
October 2nd

You must re-register your account and re-enroll for AutoPay with your credit or debit card, paperless billing and to take advantage of all the new features like usage details, account history, easily pay your bill, contact Member Services all with your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

We at PenLight strive to make sure your personal data is secure. To keep your data safe, PenLight must follow requirements set forth by the credit and debit card agencies. As a company that accepts credit/debit cards for payment we are mandated to follow the rules set by these agencies.
Due to these requirements, you will soon need to register your account and provide your credit/debit card information to a new payment website. This will need to be accomplished only once and will ensure that your privacy is maintained, and data remains secure.
