Mrs. Gatherum is a collaborative, results-driven leader with global Fortune 500 experience. She has backgrounds in law, technology, finance and real estate. In her first term on the Board, Erin served on the Policies and Bylaws and the Goals and Long-Range Planning Committees. She currently is serving her second term as Board Treasurer and chair of Goals and Long-Range Planning committee. Erin is proud of how she has been able to enhance and simplify Board documentation and processes during her tenure.
Erin grew up in Gig Harbor around the family business, Tiderunner Boats. After a successful corporate career, Erin moved her family back to the area in 2019. Erin and her husband Josh have a 10 year old son Eli. Today Erin splits her time between overseeing her family’s real estate portfolio, supporting kids with activities and homework and giving back to the community.
Erin graduated summa cume laude from Santa Clara University with a degree in Economics and then earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame. After passing the Washington State Bar, Erin took a job at Microsoft. During her time there she led an international team of analysts supporting Microsoft’s COO. She continued her career with stints at Google and then Citadel Securities, a Chicago-based financial market maker. Erin previously served on the board of what is now the Center for Engineering Diversity & Outreach at the University of Michigan. She has also served on the boards of tech startups and small private businesses. Erin is an alumni of the FBI Citizens Academy. Erin’s key strengths include strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, attention to detail, commitment to excellence and strong work ethic.
