Mrs. Gatherum is a collaborative, results-driven leader with global Fortune 500 experience. She has backgrounds in law, technology, finance and real estate.
Erin grew up in Gig Harbor around the family business, Tiderunner Boats. After a successful corporate career, Erin moved her family back to the area in late 2019. Today Erin splits her time between real estate portfolio management, community service initiatives and raising kids. Erin and her husband Josh have a son Eli who they adopted from foster care. Extended family members Casey and Jaxson complete their household.
Erin graduated summa cume laude from Santa Clara University with a BS degree in Economics and then earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School. After passing the Washington State Bar, Erin took a job at Microsoft. During Erin’s 9 year tenure at Microsoft she led an international team of analysts supporting Microsoft’s COO. She continued her career with stints at Google and then Citadel Securities, a Chicago-based financial market maker. Erin previously served on the board of what is now the Center for Engineering Diversity and Outreach at the University of Michigan. She has also served on the boards of 2 different tech startups. In 2021, Erin completed the FBI Citizens Academy. Erin’s key strengths include strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, attention to detail, commitment to excellence and strong work ethic.
