Join the team that is in schools to help reverse these statistics by becoming a volunteer mentor for Communities in Schools of Peninsula.
Share just one hour a week at one of any five Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula elementary schools to help children in after-school reading and math programs.
A 2017 CISP mentorship orientation is Tuesday, September 12, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Peninsula School District Educational Service Center in Gig Harbor.
