Applications will be accepted from November 1st through the last weekday in December for the following year’s election. Persons interested in being nominated for PenLight’s Board of Directors election can download the information packet and application when it becomes available on the website on November 1st.

Candidate Application Information

Completed applications can be returned as follows:

  1. Complete application materials and email to Peninsula Light Company.
  2. Mail to: “PenLight Election Committee, Attn: PR Manager,” 13315 Goodnough Dr. NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332.
  3. Hand-deliver the packet, clearly marked “PenLight Election Committee, Attn: PR Manager” to the lobby of PenLight headquarters at 13315 Goodnough Drive NW, Purdy, WA 98332 during regular working hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday.
  4. Place in the packet, clearly marked: “PenLight Election Committee, Attn: PR Manager,” in PenLight’s drop box (located by drive-through window) during non-business hours.

Another way to run for PenLight’s Board is by petition, which requires approximately 1,000 signatures of members in good standing (this is 3 percent of our approximately 32,000 members).
