Member Survey Begins Late June

As technology and social media expands by leaps and bounds, we are communicating with you, our members, more frequently and through more channels than ever before. It represents quite a change from when we began as a member-owned mutual corporation in 1925.

With today’s telecom innovations, we often don’t answer unrecognized phone numbers because experience shows they are telemarketers or scammers. As PenLight is about to begin our annual member survey, we thought it would be a good idea to give you a “heads up” that our study representatives will be calling.

In late June, our National Rural Electric Cooperative Association survey team will be dialing from the (712) and (844) area codes. They will call a random selection of our members to ask about your experiences with PenLight. Also, a small number of members will receive an email with a link asking you to take an online survey. Both surveys will take five to six minutes to complete. We could use your help by having you take a few minutes to talk with our survey representatives or to click through the link and answer the online questions.

In the years to come, further communication advancements will surely continue to evolve how we connect with you. However, as we’ve done since our beginning more than 90 years ago, we are dedicated to helping our members continually improve their quality of life.
