HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER – $500 INCENTIVE

Heat pump (hybrid) water heaters use electricity to move heat from one place to another instead of generating heat directly. They can be two to three times more energy-efficient than conventional electric resistance water heaters. Heat pump water heater incentives are available for qualifying units.

DUCTLESS HEAT PUMP – $800 INCENTIVE

Members who convert to a ductless heat pump heating system in existing homes heated with baseboards, wall heaters, cable heat or an electric forced-air furnace may qualify. Installation must be completed by a licensed contractor. No homeowner installations are eligible.

AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP – $400 OR $1,000 INCENTIVE

Members who replace an existing air source heat pump with a qualifying high-efficiency heat pump, or add a heat pump to a system with natural gas, oil or propane backup, may qualify for a $400 incentive.

Members who convert an electric forced air furnace to a qualifying high-efficiency air source heat pump may qualify for a $1,000 incentive.
