Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Maritime Gig Festival Parade such a memorable event. This year's theme, America 250: Stars & Stripes, provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate our nation's history, our community, and the people who make the Gig Harbor area such a special place to call home.
PenLight was proud to join the festivities and celebrate alongside our members, neighbors, and friends. Our employees and their families once again came together to represent PenLight in the parade, sharing in a tradition that highlights the strong community spirit that defines both our organization and the communities we serve.
1 of the most rewarding aspects of participating in the parade is the opportunity for employees and their families to connect outside of the workplace. From preparing decorations and organizing parade activities to walking the route together on parade day, these experiences strengthen relationships and create lasting memories while reinforcing the teamwork and camaraderie that power PenLight every day.
Community involvement has always been at the heart of PenLight's values. Whether through local events, educational programs, volunteer efforts, or supporting community organizations, we are committed to being an active and positive part of the place we call home.
Thank you to everyone who lined the streets, waved flags, and cheered on participants throughout the parade. We are honored to celebrate this historic milestone with our community and look forward to continuing our tradition of service, connection and community pride for years to come.
