On July 26, a brush fire near a transmission pole along the Cushman Trail caused a widespread outage. Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One extinguished the fire and investigated the scene. Tacoma Power cleared the pole, and PenLight safely restored power. Total outage duration was about 3 hours.

We’ve received reports of members getting calls claiming PenLight’s website is changing and directing members to another website to create a new username and password. This is a scam. Our website is not changing, and there is no need to create a new username or password.
